Frequently asked questions
Do roller shutters really insulate?
They add real benefit by creating an air gap in front of the glass, mainly at night, and reduce summer heat by blocking sun. The benefit depends on slat quality and how well the box is sealed.
Can an existing manual shutter be motorised?
Often yes, by replacing the drive shaft with a tubular motor suited to the weight of the curtain. A site check confirms compatibility.
